Contagion

I have been bed ridden for the past week. Upon starting a new job I was not fond of, one of the trainers was very ill, and I am highly susceptible to other people’s bugs.  Not only did I get the stuffy nose, sore throat and headaches, but the co worker generously gave me pink eye too.

I can not stress enough how important it is to not go to work with a contagion.  One person’s cold virus can turn into another person’s pneumonia, then the person with pneumonia is getting reprimands from work because they are too sick to work.

If you have to be sick, be considerate of the public.  DON’T SPREAD YOUR VIRUS! Wear a mask, wash your hands, don’t share drinks, or food.  You know, the things they taught us in second grade about being hygienic.

I am not the type to go to work, or even leave my home when I am sick.  I keep my germs to myself, call me selfish.  I like to sleep, sleep and sleep some more with hot drinks in between naps. None of this going to work, puking my guts out, then going back to my shift touching everything possible.

Attention Walmart shoppers!  I work for an inventory company that counts all the products sold at walmart, So this co worker of mine was coughing, sneezing, and touching everything sold at walmart.  Chances are, if you shop at walmart, and are now sick, it is from thoughtless employees, and even more thoughtless management for forcing workers to work sick. Shame onto any company that does not allow their employees to take time off for being too sick to work.  SHAME ON YOU WALMART!
